Beret Flash
A shield shaped embroidered device with a semi-circular base 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width overall consisting of a background divided horizontally through the center, white above and gray below, displaying three black isosceles triangles, one vertical point to center, two horizontally points to center; edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border. The beret flash was approved on 31 December 2012. (TIOH Dwg. No. A-4-279)
Background Trimming
An oval-shaped embroidered item 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width overall, divided diagonally from upper right to lower left, black at top and silver gray at bottom, with a white diagonal stripe from upper right to lower left, surmounted on both sides by a yellow lightning bolt; all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border. The background trimming was approved on 26 April 2012. (TIOH Dwg. No. A-6-304)
